The Distance Education State Almanac 2017 reported that over 25,000 college students in Oklahoma were enrolled in online-only programs during the Fall 2015 term, signifying that as many as 12% of the state’s student population were only-only students. Of these online students, 85% were Oklahoma residents while 15% were out-of-state students. The University of Oklahoma—Norman Campus placed first for distance learner growth between 2012 to 2015.
