American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
The American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine offers a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, emphasizing both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Students may choose to develop special skills in one of the following areas of traditional Chinese medicine: gynecology, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, dermatology, neurological disorders, musculo-skeletal disorders or sensory organ disorders. Additionally, a 41-credit Tuina Massage Program is offered which confers a certificate in Chinese therapeutic body work.
AAAOM faculty members are highly-trained professionals in their fields of expertise. They include skilled doctors of Oriental medicine from China, and doctors of biomedicine who have received training in both Western and Oriental medicine. Our faculty members embody a comprehensive range of experience in academic knowledge, clinical practice and technical skill.
